Smt Nagavolu Anuradha , founder and Director of Raga sudha dance academy started her Dance career in 1998, since then she worked in various renowned schools around hyderabad. Namely, Chirec Public School, Vikas concept School, Visakha Central schools, Sai English high School, Blooming Dales and list is high as part time dance tutor teaching different dance forms like classical, folk etc as teaching Artist. Raga Sudha Dance Academy never fails to provide new opportunities. We offer different level of courses in Bharatanatyam. We conduct examinations every year to our students and certify them based on their levels. We have performed on hundreds of stages over the years. Not only in India we also have students overseas from Australia, Germany, United States , United Kingdom who are taking training from us through online mode . We as a team performed on different stages like potti sriramulu telugu university, ravindrabharathi, tirupathi, srisailam etc. We are also part of Guinness world record event , the largest bharatanatyam dance festival happened in 2020 in Chennai. We had participated in various competitions and won medals. We reached our mile stone, International performance tour to Malaysia in 2022 , which got a huge response. Apart from this we organize Annual days every year for providing new opportunities for begginers and seniors to showcase their talents. We thoroughly enjoy and make sure kids enjoy our class introducing new ideas to keep them involved. There are students who has been learning with us from past 12 years consistently . Smt Nagavolu Anuradha, She as a kid at age of 4years was trained under Guru Rama Murty gaaru in Vizianagaram. In general, She was very active and enthusiastic to dance and learn new things from her surroundings. With blessings of her parents Kameswara Rao Gaaru , Krishna Veni Garu and her Elder sister Rajya lakshmi Garu she persued her dance career from her childhood. She later started teaching dance from 1994, with immense support and encouragement from her husband, Nagavolu Muralidhar Gaaru .She says in an interview. She mentions "Her Family is her key to acheive her dreams" . Smt Anuradha had roller coaster ride which she thoroughly enjoyed managing both family life and professional life as a dancer. Raga Sudha Dance Academy was a thought started in 1998 and after working alot she brought up into action in 2014 .Raga Sudha Dance Academy has been recognised Dance Institution, since then offering professional Bharatanatyam courses to children above 5+ years. There are thousands of students who learnt and performed at various places under guidance of Smt . Nagavolu Anuradha. She hosted yearly summer camps with help of her colleagues on various activities to provide all skills at one place. The name Raga Sudha, was suggested by her friend randomly and that was her first summer camp name in 2000 which brought her new thought , new perspective which has grown this big now and that is how Raga Sudha name was out. As a child, she performed at various stages. She also learnt Music and Veena for 10 years. In an Interview with Sneha TV she states " I will always cherish this journey and never forget roots" . Always Grateful to everyone who are supportive in this journey , Blessed to be a source to provide new oppotunities and teach kids whatever my experience taught me. Entering 25th year as Teaching Artiste in 2023 feels like I had a reached one of my biggest milestone.
Nagavolu Sreekavya, younger daughter of Nagavolu Muralidhar and Smt.Nagavolu Anuradha, Co Director of Raga Sudha Dance Academy had inherited all qualities of her mother which brought her a new perspective on dance from her childhood. She says "She grew up learning with fellow students who used to learn from her mother. Ms.Nagavolu Sree kavya ,started learning dance from a very small age from her Guru.asSmt Nagavolu Anuradha. She managed her studies and after school training parallely.At age of 16, she started assisting her Mother in dance class and thats where she began her dance career as teaching artist.She along with her life as teaching artist finished her Graduation in Bachelors of Pharmacy from Gokaraju Rangaraju college of Pharmacy in 2019.She is very Enthusiast,fast learner ,she trained many students over the years.She is also a Traditional Artist and a budding keyboard player. After her graduation she had time to explore her talents and that is how she discovered her passion towards arts, paintings. within no time she got opportunities to exhibit her artworks at different places Her Art works are selected for exhibit in Telangana State Art gallery multiple times.It was always our dream to introduce all type of arts at one place thats how wel introduced arts and music courses this year.Entering 10th year in 2023 as a Teaching Artist still feels like a dream.The Mother and Daughter duo has inspired many mothers and their kids to persue dance no matter what age. We are specialized in training mother and daughter duo. At present we are available at 9 different places around hyderabad. Presently, there are 200+ students who are learning bharatanatyam from our academy. We had students aged 5+ to 50+ proving age is just a number, interest and dedication can help to start at any age who are inspiring us every now and then. Smt Anuradha garu have been invited as a juditor to various well knowed institutions like NIFT. Both Mother and daughter has been rewarded with many awards like nandi awards, natya siromani etc for their contribution and excellence in spreading cultural values.
